Hey, do you like having fun and learning new creative tricks? Well then, this is the workshop for you? Join us for this exciting class experience. You will learn sculpting techniques and also gain insight into the principles of design and composition, plus explore the use of mixed media to enhance your polymer clay creations!
In this class you will create a multitude of sculptural pieces in floral, animal, abstract and decorative themes. You will then work with metal coatings, patinas and dyes (using the NEW Swellegant and other products) to create a faux metal finish, as well as glazes and powders to resemble patinas and enameled works of art! This is an amazing and exciting new process to the polymer clay world! You will LOVE it!!
ALL skill levels are welcome, from beginner thru advanced, there is something for everyone to experience and learn!
This class would be an asset to anyone that likes to create unique one-of-a-kind creations. Some applications that this class would be usefull in include but are not limited to Quilters, knitters, mixed media artists, jewelry makers, 3-Dimesional art assemblage, and many more. Think ahead for holiday sales and gift giving!

Steampunk (or Not) Bird Class
Sue Wrisley, of Wrisley Designs will be teaching this adorable bird class here at Darbella Studio. Students will learn how to combine polymer clay with different gears, charms, findings, hardware and other adornments to embellish their creations. If that is not your style, then there is also the option of learning to use the clay to make elegant scrolls and other clay tidbits for a one of a kind work of art!

M.Y.O.C (ake Your Own Cutter) Class
In this class, guest teacher Sue Wrisley will show students how to make your very own clay cutter, from your own original art, or one of the designs provided. Students will learn how to treat the material for preparation to shape, seal, and solder for a cutter to use with polymer and metal clays.

Polymer Clay Sugar Skulls
Come and learn to make these fun sugar skulls, which may be made into either a bead, pin or pendant! The choices are endless for decorating your clay skulls. Students will get a brief history of the meaning of the sugar skulls and how they symbolize the celebration of life in their country of origin. Date TBA very soon.
